I’ll answer all of your highlights here but it’s as I stated in the previous response. Im preforming a buggery here synthesizing Bataille’s ideas with Lands and forcing it within my affirmative Deleuzian framework. Deleuzes optimism goes against what we know about thermodynamics and in general his view of production and affirmation do not sit well with Bataille’s notions of expenditure, there’s overlap but nothing concrete. I think there’s is a definite religious eschatology I’m falling back on to but it’s nothing I’m not willing to admit or that I’m not aware of, similarly I think you’re right in pointing out that some of this isn’t necessarily Bataillian as much as it is just parallel to his work.
